| James Windstrup joined Petroleum Engineers Inc ("PEI") in 1994 as a drilling, production and completion engineering consultant. Prior to his career with PEI, he worked for Marathon Oil Company and Champlin Petroleum where his assignments included Senior Production Engineer, Operations Engineering Supervisor, and Advanced Drilling Engineer. In his current role at PEI, Jim focuses on completion design and management of workovers and re-completions in East Texas. Jim is experienced in the Gulf of Mexico, South and East Texas, Wyoming, Alaska, Bolivia and Venezuela.
Jim began his oilfield career with Western Geophysical and graduated from Texas A&M University Kingsville in 1978 with a BS degree in Natural Gas Engineering. Jim is a member of the AADE and SPE.
While at PEI, Jim has worked onshore, offshore, office engineering and international assignments. He has led and/or supported projects for Lagoven; Enron Venezuela, Matrix O&G, Reef Expl, Remington O&G, Forest Oil and Patara O&G among many others.
